DESCRIPTION:
AbdulAziz Hariri has discovered a vulnerability in various Citrix
products, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the
processing of packets sent to the Citrix ActiveSync Service
(ctxactivesync.exe) and can be exploited to cause the service to
crash.

The vulnerability is reported in the following products (confirmed in
XenApp 5.0 ctxactivesync.exe 4.5.4200.1):
* Citrix XenApp 5
* Citrix Presentation Server 4.5
* Citrix Access Essentials 2.0

SOLUTION:
Apply hotfix (please see the vendor's advisory for details).
