DESCRIPTION:
Richard Brain has reported a vulnerability in Juniper IVE, which can
be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.

Input passed to the "u" parameter in
dana-na/auth/url_default/welcome.cgi is not properly sanitised before
being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary
HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an
affected device.

The vulnerability is reported in Juniper Networks SA-2000 running
Juniper Networks IVE version 6.5R1 (Build 14599). Other devices and
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Filter malicious characters and character sequences using a proxy.
