DESCRIPTION:
Fourteenforty Research has reported a vulnerability in Lhaplus, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the
processing of ZOO archives. This can be exploited to cause a
heap-based buffer overflow via a ZOO archive with an overly large
comment field length.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.56. Prior versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.57.
