DESCRIPTION:
Raphaël Marichez has reported a vulnerability in policyd, which can
be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service)
and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the
function "w_read()" in sockets.c. This can be exploited to cause a
buffer overflow by sending large SMTP commands to a vulnerable
system.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 1.81.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.81.
