DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Pligg CMS, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed via the "scategory" parameter to search.php (when "adv"
is set to "1" and "search" is set to some value) and rsssearch.php
(when "adv" is set to "1") is not properly sanitised before being
used in a SQL query in libs/search.php. This can be exploited to
manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.1.4. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
